Headband? Vintage Skirt? Ralph Lauren, thrifted (similar here) Sweater? Zara
Shoes? Frye Belt? Thrifted

A floral headband is not my usual aesthetic but after staring at it hanging on my wall as decoration for months, I just decided to commit to it. Commit to the headband and commit to handling the inevitable Lord of the Rings jokes with a patient smile.
I did get some elf jokes but mostly I had girls asking me where I got the headband from. I bought it  last winter for 7 euros in an antique store in Holland. And yes, I try to act all nonchalant when I tell anyone who asks that the headband is vintage and I bought it in Europe... darling. The key is to spin things to make them sound as glamourous as possible. That is why I no longer refer to myself as a landscaper, I much prefer Property Perfectionist. With those capitals...

(Also, thank you, thank you for the responses to my post about Stella. Lots of pet love in the comments and I appreciate all the kind words and stories you had to share.)

You look adorable in that headband. I get the LOTR, all the time, or just flat out hippie. Both of which I am fond of.

So here's to all the confident head-banders. Be bold. Head-band strong.

I'm not much into floral crowns either - but this one paired with that shirt is awesome! And you can't help but do a humblebrag when you really did buy it vintage in Europe!

And whoa, some spambot named lancer is really trying to give you some important info!

How fitting to be reading this post while actually watching LOTR (fellowship of the ring, if you're curious.) I'm glad you committed to the head band, it looks good on you and not like you're some weird hippie chick..just that you have good style and anything you put together will look amazing. These photos are beautiful too.
